Frequently asked

If your question is not here, the concierge team will answer it directly.

Who can apply for the FIRST Hand Tag?

The first registered owner of an Indian-registered passenger vehicle with an ex-showroom price above ₹60 lakh.

Which documents do I need?

The registration certificate and a current insurance document are required. A purchase invoice or delivery note in your name is optional but strengthens the review.

How long does verification take?

7 to 12 working days from the point we have complete documents. If something is missing we write to you and the clock pauses.

What appears publicly once I am verified?

Only the registration number, the registered owner name and the verified status. Documents, address and contact details are never published.

What happens if I sell the car?

The verified first-owner status is removed and the public lookup stops showing the vehicle as verified. The status belongs to the first owner, not the car.

Can the tag be copied?

The physical tag can be copied; the verified status cannot. Anyone can check a registration number on our verification page, which makes a false claim easy to expose.

Is the tag legal to fit on an Indian number plate?

The tag is a frame that surrounds the plate. It must not cover, obscure or alter any character of the registration number, and you remain responsible for compliance with local regulations.

Can I apply for more than one vehicle?

Yes. Submit a separate application for each vehicle, since verification is tied to a registration number.

Do you offer this for pre-owned cars?

No. The entire premise is genuine first ownership, so a second or later owner is not eligible.
